An alumnus of the prestigious University of Liverpool (2005), University of Lagos (2003) and Ambrose Alli University (1998), Dolapo started her professional career in marketing communications management and consulting in Insight Grey (Marketing Communication Agency) in 2000. She is a highly experienced Senior Business Executive with over 20 years’ experience in brand marketing and sales strategy with expertise in innovation, integrated commercial planning & execution, international business development, project management, and cross-functional team leadership, while delivering positive outcomes with strong sustainable gains. She is a talented and creative professional with a proven track record of accelerating revenue growth through strategy and market development.
Dolapo joined FrieslandCampina WAMCO in 2004 where she held a number of senior manager and leadership responsibilities including Brand Manager, Innovation Manager, Business Development Manager – Vietnam, Marketing Manager, Head of Shopper Marketing, International Channel and Shopper Marketing Manager in the Netherlands. Called a “Passionate Brandpreneur” by her colleagues and associates, Dolapo has earned many accolades for her contribution as a thought leader in marketing and communication subject area; she eagerly share her knowledge with others to benefit and inspire her team, company and young executives, utilizing content marketing, social media, to share and engage in innovative thinking full of insight, information and engagement to stretch the minds of young marketers encouraging and even daring them to think deeply and differently. Her purpose is to serve as a positive role model. To be known for inspiring young Nigerian professionals to be more than they thought they could be.
During her long career, she has received over 10 recognitions and awards her first in the innovation and launch of world’s first evaporated milk in a sachet in the best packaging innovation category showcased at the IDF Dairy Innovation Summit and Awards in 2010. In 2019, she led her Team to win the FrieslandCampina Global Win Awards – Commercial Obsession Category (1st Winner). Dolapo has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Marketing Communication Professionals in Africa (2017), Outstanding Woman in Marketing in Nigeria (2017), Marketing Thought Leader of the Year (2019), Excellence in Marketing Communications(2021) Top 50 Africa Marketing Leaders (2021), Marketing World Woman of the Year (2021) by Marketing World Magazine and Marketing Edge Outstanding Marketing Personality of The Year (2021). Dolapo is a Volunteer Teacher Assistant, she provides support to high school students or to groups, supporting across the curriculum, with focus on Government, Literature and Business Administration Studies.
She is a fellow of National Institute of Marketing Nigeria (NIMN), a member of Institute of Directors and an Associate member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON).
